An innovative scale-up revolutionising fitness technology through its AI-powered platform is looking for a Senior Product Designer.

Salary: £85,000
Based: London (Hybrid, 2 days WFH)

As the Senior Product Designer, you will be the first to oversee all aspects of design within the company, including the mirror application, website, marketing assets, and potentially hardware. You will work closely with our freelance designer and CPO to drive a user-centered design approach and ensure high-quality design outputs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CPO and freelance designer to lead product design across the mirror application, website, marketing materials, and potentially hardware.
• Conduct user research, including interviews and testing, to guide design decisions.
• Develop and manage design systems to enhance communication with developers.
• Evaluate and implement design solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
• Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the design team expands.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in product or UI/UX design within a startup or high-growth environment.
• Proven track record in creating and managing design systems and assets.
• Highly product-minded with a strong understanding of product development.
• Proficiency in Figma and project management tools like JIRA.
• Attention to detail and experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a collaborative team mindset.
• Passion for developing technology that revolutionizes fitness, though regular gym attendance is not required.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in designing Human Machine Interfaces or smart appliances.
• Background in designing physical products as well as software.
• Developer experience or knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Passion for fitness and experience with fitness products.
• Understanding of behavioral psychology and human-computer interaction.
